I prefer to use the html validator as a firefox addon. Much less drama, but that Cynthia thing is good to run through as well.

What exactly does it do? Validate a web page? I donīt understand what you are saying. The web pages, such as StumbleUpon, works perfectly.

Yep, just because the browser "understands" the code doesn't mean it's written how it should be.

...and as I said, Stumbleupon doesn't have too good a time on it (so says P2, whose browser, Firefox, understands SU's code, but doesn't like its grammar in a number of situations)

This page alone, has 17 errors and 58 warnings in the html tidy/validator. But it was like that 2 years ago, and won't change anytime soon.
