Hi animagifs. My advice is to simplify your site.

- don't have sounds attached to buttons
- don't make each page different design (textures etc)
- don't try to be too clever, having lots of distracting animations on your page puts me off navigating around.
- Tidy up the navigation, make it consistent on each page.

good luck :)

This is a joke, I wonīt use a site that is built entirely on Flash. I donīt like when sites are made with Flash because they are usually very slow to load, because all the delay effects that the programmers add in so people can view their special effects.

As well, Flash sites are not exactly equipped with a good sense of control. The flash sites usually contains a lot of different colours, not the easy colouring as web pages that are built by HTML have.

I like Flash, itīs good, but then I mean a movie or a animation, a game or something nice that are added on a HTML page. Building a web page with Flash is both dangerous and useless. Most Flash are made in good attention, but be aware. Flash files can contain malicious cookies, as we have seen on all kind of hacking on sites. This are probably one of the reasons why StumbleUpon donīt let users add Flash files on their blogs..

YouTube has a good filter though, so of course it is possible to write a script that only lets YouTube videos pass and get published on your StumbleUpon blog, if StumbleUpon decides to make that option. In my opinion, loading web pages with Flash will hugely slow down the time it takes to access the blogs on StumbleUpon, not to mention that I will most likely not watch any video that are put on blogs. Put a link instead to the video.

In my opinion, the bandwidth of StumbleUpon should be put on the general goal that StumbleUpon has, discovering new sites.
