Hello, I would very much appreciate feedback for two pages of my site. Please visit:

My site is a place to store your favorite bookmarks as snapshots online. There are many more features but that is the basic function. The first link is a sample user homepage I created. Each user's homepage will be different but the basic layout will be the same. Please let me know if you see any design issues.

The main thing I see is that, for a person seeing it the first time and not knowing why they are there, there is nothing to indicate what the site is for. There are 9 numbered boxes and a welcome message, thats all. A brief description of what the site is/does would be helpful.

I absolutely agree with #2. I seem to look at sites with my ADD and that means I did not read your second paragraph. So I went with no idea what it was. Once I got there I was confused. [Had I been a regular internet surfer NOT asked to critique it, I would have left.]

However, I stayed there and fiddled and THEN found that hovering over boxes yielded messages. I tried som random clicking too but that didn't yield information to me.

At least an introductory paragraph would have told me what was up.

Information is on the Login page.... Seriouslly, I wouldnīt recommend this...

This is right in Opera.. Also, why share a home page with a web site?
And logging into a web site to access your home pages in tabs..

Why do you make commercial for StumbleUpon and Yahoo?
Facebook, Ebay and MSN?

Facebook sucks!

ItsCasa means Itīs home in spanish. The site lets you add your web pages into the 9 boxes so you can click them for access later...

This one is whacked!

...and then from the login page one cannot get back to the main page without going into the toolbar. [iow, good site design will always have a link to navigate easily back to the homepage at least]

yeah. you need to move that login information to the main page for sure.

ps. i just looked at the page you asked us to look at and critique...the "please visit itscasa.com/stumbleupon" and i don't have any idea what i am looking at, what is expected or what i am to do.

There are 9 screen shots.. If you roll your mouse over the 1 screen shot on the main page for one second it gets a little introduction, starting from 1 and ends at 9.....

I stick with my comment.. This site is whacked!

i'll take over. ?

1. CSS not vaild.

Error in parsing value for properties "cursor" and "preload" . Declarations dropped.

2) No SSL security. important for user trust.

3) Robots and index blocked. google crawler wont be no where near.

and personally, i think its pretty pointless to have an SU button at the home page. thats just me tho.
