 Sponsor | AnswerMan | Jan 15, 10:19pm | I'm designing a new site for a client.
I'm registering a new domain and I require it to have a free host. (either free or one time payment)
This is not for me and hence I cant host it on my dedicated server.
He does not want to pay a mega amount of money on hosting. Did you ever come across any registrars offering ad free hosting?
I tried both GD, BH 1&1.
Godaddy has ads.
110mb is the slowest free server on the planet.
Bluehost is asking hosting pay per month. |

i've never used doteasy but i'm an affiliate. i figure if it's free and has no ads, you can always move it if it's terrible. |

| | OrunXP | Jan 16, 3:56am | 5) Mhm, they offer paid hosting with more space and bandwidth as well. It also seems like the default error pages contain ads (this is easily fixed though, just set up a custom 404 page).
It seems like they're cutting it close, but I used their services for a year and even upgraded eventually, so I can vouch =) |

i have never heard of them but i don't get out much. sounds really jam up.
[you don't need to answer my curiousities orun. i can go visit and see. i guess i am just so impressed with your opinion of it and that it's free. that's great.] |

Free
Itīs a guy who talks what happened to him when hosting on a free site.. They started hosting free. And when people had their web sites for a while, they forced anyone who wanted to keep their web site to register for money.... The guy who writes this tells that they mentioned it before, but he was away and missed the e-mail...
Some thing to keep in mind.... |

Sponsor | digits | Jan 18, 8:34am | 9. yeah but then the guy brags on powweb. i moved accounts from there at the end of last year - being one big hassle. not giving me my money back after they'd charged anyway AFTER i cancelled...and talking to people in India and...oi!
okay. okay. maybe he doesn't need a database but if ya did...at least in September and for months and months prior you could be offline several times a week, slow connectivity...and etc and all they'd say is "it's working fine for us." [Cause it'd be *back* to working by the time they got around to "helping you"...lol]
i posted the saga here. [iow my powweb experience is/was suquage.] |
